Alicia Silverstone and Alyson Michalka
Alicia Silverstone is the daughter of Monty Silverstone (father) and Deidre R. Radford. She was born in Hillsborough on 4 October 1976. Her half siblings are who were born to her father's former marriage. Her family was an average middle class family in San Francisco. Following her debut in a commercial on TV with Domino's Pizza, Silverstone began modelling at age six. Silverstone attended Crocker Middle and San Mateo High Schools. In 1992 Silverstone had her first role that was credited to her as a character in The Wonder Years. The show was highly praised for her performance by both critics and audience members, and won an award. She was featured in the music videos Cryin & Amazing of Aerosmith. In television movies, she appeared including Torch Song and Scattered Dreams in 1993. Then came her principal role in the telefilm movie Cool and the Crazy (1994). In 1995 she received the biggest break as an actor with her role as Cher Horowitz in the sleeper hit film Clueless.
