Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American singer, actress as well as a writer and director. Most famously, she is known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and starred in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child born on January 8, 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle, her sister is an artist of distinction. Benson, whose father is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Since Buffy ended Benson has appeared in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. She also used her skills in writing for the Ghosts of Albion Series and produced Drones in 2010. Buffy claims that after taking time to count and find the Slayers, she discovered at least 1800 Slayers around the globe, of which 500 are associated to the Scooby Gang.
