Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. Her family was raised on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared on stage in many productions while attending school including the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. Following that success, she played Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe made an appearance in the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. She has performed on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was later ended. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series on ABC Revenge during two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she'd leave the series after making an appearance in the initial series of the 3rd. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star in the role of Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe and her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, is a member of a large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was never a walker, she was a dancer, and at age two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley developed a passion for dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the distinction of "top soloist".
