Luke Timothy Grimes was born 21 January 1984, in Dayton Ohio U.S. Randy Grimes and Angie Barker, both Pentecostal clergy, are the grandparents of Luke Timothy Grimes. Luke Grimes is the son of Randy Grimes, who is a Pentecostal minister and angie Barker. He has three sisters: Racheal Abby Grimes and Seth Grimes. His family is a religious and conservative family and attended Dayton Christian High School. Luke completed his Dayton Christian High School in 2002 and relocated in New York City, where was pursuing his passion for acting. He enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he studied acting over two years. In order to enhance his ability to sing He took guitar and singing lessons.
